About Us

Hewlett and Mary Anne Fanner had both sold their respective businesses and purchased the property, Equestre, a neighbouring property to the stables and paddocks already owned by them where they kept Mary Anne’s horses.

After living in Scottsville for 41 years, they had retired and wanted to move to the farm but the cost of building on these properties was really not worth it, so they decided to buy the neighbouring property. After making many changes to the house and being left with a large block of 12 they decided to gut the stables and transform them into luxury bed and breakfast units. And the new Equestre was born out of this.
